Bitcoin4Ghana is a grassroots project to introduce and promote bitcoin use to the people of Ghana.
A project to promote the use of bitcoin in Ghana to show people how to use it to move out of poverty. There is already a shop (funded by us) where people can buy things with bitcoin and we’re setting up the local bitcoin education as well as an annual conference and regular meet-ups. As well as the shop, we have provided a diesel generator because the power is often off.
The next thing is a solar panel, inverter and battery system so that we don’t need to buy diesel. We’ll be able to help others in the area to get set up with similar solar energy systems too.
