Our mailing list will remind you once a week to visit, but the more you visit, the better it is for ClickForCharity. Still, if we have a complicated reminder system with choices, it will be harder to use, and I will probably mess it up anyway. Here are some ways to set reminders.
FollowUpThen can send you email reminders at any interval you like, and a whole lot more, like resending you an email later to remind you about it, or even sending follow-up emails to your recipients. The free tier has plenty of reminders.
- Windows 10—using the Microsoft To-Do app.
- Windows 11—also using the To-Do app.
- Mac: use the Reminders app.
- Linux: I had trouble getting anything that didn’t give my data to the likes of Google because the ones that didn’t would all generate reminders that use the system notifications, which disappear after 5 seconds. So I ended up using a command-line tool called Remind. [edit] Since writing that, Cinnamon Desktop’s built-in calendar has added reminders that cover pretty much anything and don’t just vanish whether you see them or not.
